Kate is the founder of Improve Your Move OT. She completed her studies at Southern Cross University and has worked extensively with adults living with physical and neurological disabilities, which she considers her core area of passion and clinical focus.

Kate is an accredited Complex Home Modifications Assessor, having completed the nationally recognised training modules CPPACC4020 and CPPACC5016.

She has extensive training in assistive technology and equipment, with a strong interest in wheelchairs, seating systems and rehabilitation equipment.

Kate is also a qualified Lymphoedema Practitioner, registered with the Australasian Lymphology Association, and is passionate about raising awareness and improving access to lymphoedema treatment.

Rebecca (Bec) studied in the United States on a beach volleyball scholarship, completing her undergraduate degree before returning to Australia to complete her Master of Occupational Therapy Studies at the University of Queensland.
Bec enjoys working closely with clients on functional capacity building, supporting them to reconnect with foundational ADLs, leisure activities, and hobbies that bring joy and purpose. 
She has a particular interest in Home and Living assessments, assistive technology, and minor home modifications.

Max is the founder of Function2Freedom Physiotherapy, a Brisbane-based practice. He has studied across Australia and the United Kingdom, completing degrees in Physiotherapy and Biomedical Science.
He visits Gippsland monthly and provides individualised exercise programs and hydrotherapy services. He has extensive experience in assistive technology prescription, manual handling assessments and training, and complex wheelchair and seating systems.

Janette is a Registered Nurse who completed her studies at RMIT University and brings over 18 years of nursing experience. Her background includes working across hospital wards, clinical education roles, and most recently in wound care.

Janette is a qualified Lymphoedema Practitioner, trained in the Casley-Smith Method, and provides comprehensive lymphoedema assessment and treatment services.

Elise is the much-loved Allied Health Assistant, she brings a strong background in disability and rehabilitation equipment, having previously worked as a disability equipment supplier. This experience gives her in-depth knowledge of assistive technology, equipment processes, and the coordination of repairs and servicing.
Working under the direction of our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapist, Elise delivers rehabilitation and therapy programs, completes equipment checks, and assists with the coordination of assistive technology servicing and repairs.
Elise is based in Gippsland and works part-time on Thursdays and Fridays.
